Tragedy in Jalaun: Man Dies After Self-Immolation

A tragic incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun district as a 58-year-old man, Omkar Singh, died after setting himself on fire. The heartbreaking event took place in Mau Khurd village, with police receiving an alert at around 11 am.
Circle Officer Shailendra Kumar Bajpai reported that Singh was rushed to a medical college in Orai after suffering severe burn injuries. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to the hospital.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances leading to this drastic step, questioning Singh's family and local villagers to understand the motive behind the self-immolation.
