Crackdown on Balochistan Terror Groups: Major Security Sweep
Pakistani security forces have killed 35 terrorists and detained three senior commanders from Balochistan-based groups during recent operations. This comes after a wave of violence in Quetta, prompting strict security measures, imposing Section 144, and suspending train services. Authorities aim to maintain law and order amidst ongoing threats.
In a significant crackdown on terror, Pakistani security forces have killed 35 members of Balochistan-based terrorist groups and captured three senior commanders in a series of intelligence-based operations.
The operations began on May 13 in Mangla Zarghoon Gar, near Quetta, and concluded after four days. The Balochistan government stated that many terrorist camps and hideouts were destroyed in these operations, which follow violent incidents in Quetta earlier this month.
Amid these threats, the provincial government has enforced Section 144, restricting public gatherings and activities, and suspended train services to maintain law and order.
