KNDS chairman welcomes German government decision on stake

​The chairman ‌of KNDS ​on Wednesday welcomed a ‌decision that will see the German government take ‌a 40% stake in ‌the Franco-German defence group, before gradually cutting its ⁠holding.

"The ​goal ⁠must be to significantly ⁠reduce the state's stake over ​time," Enders said in ⁠a statement. "In the ⁠long ​run, defence companies generally do not ⁠need majority state shareholders," he ⁠said.
