North Korea says US-South Korea arms buildup will spur stronger deterrent

​North ‌Korea said ​U.S. arms sales ‌to South Korea and other regional allies ‌were fuelling military tensions ‌on the Korean peninsula and across ⁠the Asia-Pacific, ​state ⁠media KCNA reported ⁠on Thursday.

North Korea's ​Foreign Ministry said such "reckless" ⁠military build-ups would only ⁠prompt ​Pyongyang to further strengthen ⁠its own military deterrent ⁠to "overwhelm" them, ⁠KCNA said.
