Two juveniles held from Haridwar for stabbing factory owner in Delhi

Delhi Police has apprehended two juveniles for allegedly stabbing a man inside his factory in Shahdara's Gandhi Nagar over a monetary dispute, an official said on Monday.
The minors were apprehended from Haridwar in Uttarakhand after they allegedly attacking the factory owner and fleeing Delhi, he said.
The incident took place on May 21 in the Dharampura area of Gandhi Nagar. A PCR call regarding a stabbing incident was received at Gandhi Nagar police station following which police teams rushed to the spot.
During preliminary inquiry, police found that around 12.30 pm, the two juveniles had gone to the complainant's factory in Dharampura where an argument broke out over a monetary dispute. The altercation soon turned violent and the accused allegedly attacked the victim with a sharp object before fleeing, police said.
The injured man was rushed to Jag Parvesh Hospital by his wife, who also informed the police about the incident.
Based on the victim's statement, an FIR under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) pertaining to attempt to murder was registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation was initiated.
Police analysed technical evidence and gathered local intelligence, which revealed that the suspects had escaped to Haridwar, officials said.
A police team reached Haridwar and conducted surveillance near Har Ki Pauri area, where both juveniles were identified and apprehended, officials said. They were later brought to Delhi for further legal proceedings.
During sustained interrogation, both juveniles allegedly admitted to their involvement in the attack, police said, adding that further investigation is underway.
