Operation Sheruwali: Battling Terror in Jammu's Dense Forests
Security forces have intensified their operations against terrorists believed to be hiding in the forests of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district. The operation, which began after intelligence inputs, has seen a coordinated effort involving the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF, backed by helicopters and drones.

Security forces launched a targeted offensive on Tuesday against terrorist hideouts in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district. The operation, which now enters its fourth day, focuses on flushing out militants from the dense forests, with additional troops being deployed.
Authorities launched the assault in the Dorimal-Gambhir Moghla sector of Manjakote, following intelligence inputs received during ongoing operations. Plumes of smoke were observed rising from the area after targeted attacks on suspected hideouts.
With support from helicopters and drones, joint forces including the Army, police, and CRPF are sweeping the region, maintaining a strengthened cordon around the zone. The operation, initially launched based on specific intelligence, has continued with increased vigor and reinforcements.
