Khaja Moizuddin, a 63-year-old senior lawyer, tragically lost his life after being allegedly run over by unidentified individuals in an SUV near his home on May 23. The killers remain unidentified, but the incident has left the legal community in shock, questioning the safety of those in the profession.
Moizuddin's son has alleged that his father's active stance against waqf property encroachment may have led to his murder. Previous threats and attempts on his life had been made. A murder case has been registered as the police continue their investigation into this alarming breach of justice and safety.
