The Haryana government, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has committed to investing Rs 750 crore over the next two years to bolster the state's police infrastructure. This significant financial allocation reflects the government's intent to modernize and enhance law enforcement facilities.
Saini recently conducted an in-depth assessment of the police department, setting ambitious targets for the coming years under the 'Vision 2047' plan. He emphasized the importance of comprehensive development across all departments, with a keen focus on upgrading police stations, lines, posts, buildings, offices, and residences.
Meanwhile, state police have successfully resolved several major recent crimes. Notably, the gang responsible for the attempted break-in at the Haryana Congress chief's house has been largely apprehended, demonstrating the department's commitment to effective crime management.
