Four Arrested in Mathura with 41 Kgs of Cannabis in Bust

In Mathura, police detained four individuals with over 41 kgs of cannabis valued at approximately Rs 50 lakh during a vehicle check. Two potentially stolen cars were recovered. In a significant drug bust, police in Mathura apprehended four individuals in possession of over 41 kilograms of cannabis, valued at around Rs 50 lakh. The arrests occurred early Tuesday morning during a routine vehicle inspection near the Alwar Bridge on the Delhi-Agra National Highway.

The police also seized two cars believed to be stolen from the suspects. Vishnu Dutt from Mathura, along with Ajit, Himanshu, and Neeraj from Jaunpur, were found in a vehicle containing the cannabis and Rs 2.20 lakh in cash. The arrests were made after officers flagged down the suspicious vehicle at approximately 2:30 am. Authorities have confirmed that all four suspects have past involvements in drug trafficking, leading to charges under the NDPS Act and BNS.
