Man Apprehended for Alleged Assault via Dating Platform

Authorities in Gurugram have detained a man named Gaurav, following allegations of sexual assault made by a woman he encountered through a dating application.

The complainant asserted that Gaurav engaged in physical relations with her after falsely assuring her of marriage, an intention he later repudiated. Following her report on Tuesday, legal proceedings were initiated under pertinent statutory provisions at Sector 50 Police Station.

Gaurav, employed at a private firm in Gurugram, was apprehended late on Tuesday. During his arrest, police retrieved his mobile device for investigative purposes, according to a spokesperson for the Gurugram Police.
