Narendra Modi, India's Prime Minister, has called for states to embrace cooperation and technology-driven solutions to settle inter-state water disputes effectively. He highlighted the Ken-Betwa project as a benchmark for resolving such conflicts through teamwork, prompt clearances, and innovative monitoring during a PRAGATI meeting.

In the same meeting, Modi evaluated seven significant infrastructure projects impacting sectors like railways, power, and roads, emphasizing the necessity for timely deliveries to prevent cost overruns and ensure public benefits. He further encouraged states to pursue similar water-related initiatives that incorporate conservation and irrigation efforts for sustained water security.

Additionally, Modi stressed promoting rooftop solar power in urban areas, enhancing the Swachh Bharat Mission with greater community involvement, and advancing the Vadhavan Port development for multi-modal logistics. His focus remains on proactive governance, ensuring faster implementation of crucial projects across India.
