A demonstration against a planned industrial development near Bhairana Dham in Jaipur ended after authorities agreed to address the protesters' concerns. The Rashtriya Loktantrik Party led by Hanuman Beniwal spearheaded the march, which was stopped by police barricades before further negotiations took place.
Officials, including Inspector General Rahul Prakash and Jaipur Collector Sandesh Nayak, met with representatives of the protesters late at night. It was decided that the proposed industrial project would be re-evaluated. A committee with officials and protester representatives will be formed to scrutinize the plans and deliver a report to the government within a month.
