Woman's Fatal Knife Assault Leads to Husband's Arrest in Lucknow

In a tragic incident in Lucknow's Bazaar Khala, a 26-year-old woman named Chandni was found dead on Wednesday night after allegedly being attacked by her husband. Authorities discovered her with severe injuries near Eidgah Gate No 12, and despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the KGMU Trauma Centre.

The following day, police apprehended her husband, Mohammad Shahid, who was in possession of a knife believed to be the weapon used in the attack. Investigations revealed that the couple had ongoing domestic disputes, and evidence including CCTV footage and family statements pointed towards Shahid committing the crime. A complaint was lodged at Bazaar Khala Police Station by Chandni's father, resulting in Shahid's arrest on murder charges.
