Jammu and Kashmir Police Seize Properties Linked to Drug Trafficking

Srinagar Police have seized properties valued at approximately Rs 2 crore in Jammu and Kashmir. These properties, linked to narcotics trafficking, were confiscated under ongoing efforts to combat drug networks. Two individuals, Mudasir Ahmad Pir and Shafiq Ahmad Khawaja, were targeted in separate operations in Srinagar and Kupwara, respectively.

Srinagar Police have taken decisive action against drug networks by seizing properties cumulatively valued at around Rs 2 crore in Jammu and Kashmir. This operation is a part of the ongoing campaign to eliminate narcotics trafficking in the region, according to police reports.

An official statement confirmed that multiple immovable assets tied to suspected drug activities were confiscated under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan initiative. In Bemina, properties worth Rs 1.5 crore, linked to Mudasir Ahmad Pir, also known as Sahil or Doge, were seized. Meanwhile, in another operation, land and a house worth Rs 50 lakh belonging to Shafiq Ahmad Khawaja in Kupwara were attached. Authorities undertook these actions after obtaining necessary approvals under the NDPS Act and the SAFEMA regulations.
