General Upendra Dwivedi announced that the Indian armed forces are fully prepared for any need to revisit 'Operation Sindoor.' The operation, initially launched to counter terror infrastructure following a deadly attack in Pahalgam, forms part of a broader strategy involving enhanced military synergy across multiple domains.
Speaking during an event at the National Defence Academy, Dwivedi emphasized the military's adoption of modern warfare techniques, including space and cyber operations. He noted the importance of information warfare and public trust in such endeavours. The Army, he said, remains focused on modernizing and integrating new technologies, ensuring readiness for any potential escalation.
The discussion also highlighted the role of youth in the military's 'Decade of Transformation,' pointing to the establishment of specialized units and the growing importance of drone technology and data-centric networks.
