During 'Exercise Pragati,' held at the Umroi Military Station in Meghalaya, 51 industry partners presented advanced defence systems to delegates from 12 participating nations. Important figures from the Indian Army and vice-chief level representatives from foreign militaries attended, with a variety of surveillance and security technologies showcased.
Maj. Gen. CS Mann emphasized the importance of targeting international markets through such exhibitions, noting the robust growth of India's defence sector supported by government policies. The exhibitions provide a valuable platform for industry networking and potential export deals.
