In Ludhiana, an elderly couple was tragically found murdered at their residence in Janta Nagar, according to local police. Authorities believe the murders occurred more than a day prior to their discovery.
The victims, Kuldeep Singh, 70, a retired furnace factory owner, and his 69-year-old wife Harmeet Kaur, lived alone. Their only son passed away in a road accident in 2006, and their four daughters reside abroad. Concerned relatives accessed the home by forcing open the back door after detecting a foul odor and noticing the front door was securely locked.
The victims both suffered multiple head and facial injuries from blunt objects, with police finding their bodies in the bedroom. Surveillance footage captures several suspicious individuals near the scene, with investigators now focusing on these leads as they continue their inquiry.
