A postgraduate student at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi was discovered dead at his home under puzzling circumstances on Saturday, according to authorities. The deceased, 34-year-old Sanal Sanu Barwar, lived alone at his residence in the Daladali outpost area.
When his parents returned from an outing, they were unable to get a response and informed the police. The police forced entry and found Barwar's lifeless body. He was taken to a local hospital and then to RIMS, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
As a first-year Master of Surgery student, Barwar enrolled in December. Initial investigations highlighted his struggle with high blood pressure, raising suspicions of a potential overdose. However, the exact cause awaits the outcome of an autopsy. The investigation continues, as no suicide note was discovered.
