Special Lok Adalat Resolves Nearly 2,500 Cheque Bounce Cases in Gurugram

A Special State Lok Adalat in Gurugram has successfully resolved 2,497 cheque bounce disputes, settling claims worth over Rs 40 crore. This initiative, guided by local judicial authorities, provided an effective platform for quick and cost-effective justice in financial disputes.

The Special State Lok Adalat in Gurugram conducted a session on Saturday, aiming to settle numerous cheque bounce cases. This effort was in line with directives from the Haryana State Legal Services Authority and facilitated by the District Legal Services Authority.

During the event, coordinators overseen by Judge Narendra Sura managed to resolve 2,497 cases. These resolutions amounted to a total of Rs 40.31 crore, representing a significant achievement in legal efficiency and cooperation among parties, according to an official statement. The session exemplified the Lok Adalat's role in providing swift and affordable justice.
