Two helicopters are currently surveying Constanta port and the Black Sea coastline after a maritime drone exploded earlier on Friday. Romanian Deputy Interior Minister Raed Arafat confirmed the operation.

Arafat stated that the authorities have detected risks of additional drones potentially self-detonating. As a precaution, evacuations have been carried out in the area.

Despite the security concerns, Arafat reassured that these measures are purely preventative and there's no cause for panic among the public.
