Ukraine's police chief accuses Russia of using teenage Ukrainian girls to assassinate military personnel. Arrests have spotlighted these individuals recruited via Telegram for planned killings. Russian security services deny involvement. Authorities intercepted several plots, with allegations of methadone poisoning and financial inducements used to manipulate recruits into betrayal.
Ukraine's national police chief has made allegations against Russia, claiming it has been recruiting teenage Ukrainian girls to assassinate Ukrainian military personnel. The charges follow the arrest of a 17-year-old suspect in connection with a serviceman's murder, reportedly orchestrated by a Russian operative.
In a detailed disclosure to Cenzor.NET, Police Chief Ivan Vyhivskyi noted six cases of contract killings channeled via Telegram this year, detailing a broad conspiracy involving Ukraine citizens managed by Russian special services. Russian authorities have yet to comment officially but continue to pin similar allegations on Kyiv.
Vyhivskyi elaborated on the recruitment process, revealing how young women are targeted through messaging apps, seduced by promises of quick money. These individuals are reportedly tasked to meet military personnel through dating platforms, resorting to poisonings as a method of execution, highlighting a disturbing new hybrid warfare facet.
