25 held for attacking police team

ACP M R Garanaik said two groups of villagers onThursday night were fighting a pitched battle over a previousrivalry and when police arrived at the spot, the villagersattacked the police party in which the IIC was injured when astone pelted from the crowd hit him on his head

"The condition of the IIC is stated to be normal aftertreatment and he is advised rest," Garanaik said adding that25 persons of both the rival groups were rounded upimmediately.
