Rs 37.5 lakh seized by election officials

The election flying squadWednesday seized Rs 37. 5 lakh from a car of a privatesecurity agency in the city during a vehicle check

Though the occupants of the car claimed that the cash wasbeing taken to be deposited in an ATM, the money was seizedsince they did not have any valid supportingdocuments, police said

The cash was kept in the treasury and would be handedover to the security agency when they produced the documents,they said.
