Himachal Pradesh: Police arrests a man with two leopard skins
The Himachal Pradesh police have recovered two leopard skins from an individual in Himachal Pradesh's Chowari area on Monday. The accused has been arrested and a case has been registered under the Wildlife Protection Act.
According to the police, a team of Chowari police station was on patrolling duty on Monday evening and they found the accused suspiciously standing beside the road carrying a bag. As the accused tried to escape, the police chased him following which he was arrested. The two skins were 5 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 6 inches, respectively, informed the police. (ANI)
