Noted cleric passes away

Hundreds of people participated in the burial procession of cleric Maulana Iftakharul Hasan in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district on Monday. According to the family, Hasan died on Sunday after battling a long illness. He was 99.

The cleric's body was buried in his native graveyard in Kandhla town.
