Woman found dead

A 22-year-old woman was found dead at a house where she was staying as a paying guest at Attavar here on Friday, police said. The deceased has been identified as Anjana Vasista from Chikkamagaluru. She was attending coaching classes for a bank examination. Police said she was strangled to death using a television cable wire.

A man who had accompanied her to the paying guest accommodation is the prime suspect in the case. An amount of Rs 15,000 was withdrawn using her debit card from two ATMs on Friday.
