Techie held for stalking married woman

A 24-year-old software engineer was Wednesday arrested here for allegedly stalking a married woman seeking sexual favours from her, police said. Both had studied in the same class at a school in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh and the accused was allegedly in a relationship with her then, police said.

She got married to another person in 2011. Recently, the man started stalking her and threatened that he would share their "intimate" pictures with her husband and family members, if she did not succumb to his sexual desires, which the woman refused, a police release said.

He then posted the pictures on the WhatsApp account of her husband and other relatives on June 23 following which the woman lodged a complaint, it said.
