Six people were arrested in Bikaner district on Wednesday for allegedly smuggling illicit liquor worth around Rs 25 lakh to Gujarat from Haryana, police said. Over 250 liquor bottles were found concealed beneath the cartons of apples in a truck on Bikaner-Jaisalmer National Highway and its two occupants were held, Gajner Police Station in-charge Amar Singh said.
He said the other four accused were in a car escorting the truck. The six arrested accused are identified as Sandeep Kumar, Rajendra Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Mahendra Kumar Jat, Anil Kumar and Vinod Kumar, the officer said.
