ED imposes Rs 14.4 lakh penalty, confiscates nearly Rs 6.88 lakh in the case against JK separatist Syed Ali Shah Geelani, officials said. According to media reports, they also confiscated over Rs 6 lakh that was seized from his premises during an Income Tax raid at his residence in Srinagar's Hyderpora area in 2002.

A Delhi court earlier this week allowed ED to quiz Altaf Shah, son-in-law of separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, and others in connection with a terror-funding case involving LeT chief and 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed.
