EC issues show cause notice to BJP for sharing 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' video on social media without permission

EC has issued show cause notice to BJP election committee member for sharing 'Main Bhi Chowkidar' video on social media without permission.

Referring to the 'Mai Bhi Chowkidar' campaign, Narendra Modi had recently said that, "You must have noticed that these days everywhere it is you who is being discussed, be it TV or social media, be it in India or abroad. Today every Indian is saying 'Main Bhi Chowkidar'. This campaign is now the flavour of the season."

The campaign, however, has come under heavy criticism of opposition parties, mainly Congress, as they claim that PM Modi is only 'Chowkidar' of the rich people.
