A senior member of the Northern Irish party propping up Prime Minister Theresa May's government said on Tuesday that it looked like Britain would leave the European Union without a divorce deal.
"Looks like we're heading for no deal," the Democratic Unionist Party's Jeffrey Donaldson said on Twitter.
"Such an outcome will have serious consequences for the economy of Irish Republic. In addition, UK won't have to pay a penny more to EU, which means a big increase for Dublin. Can't understand why the Irish Government seems so intent on this course."
