Channels Television, which is Nigeria's highly popular 24-hours news channel, has been accused of editing a video cut from its breakfast show 'Sunrise Daily.'
Millions of people in and out of Nigeria prefer watching Channels Television's (Channel TV) 'Sunrise Daily.' President Muhammadu Buhari's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has given a statement that 'all over the world casualties of soldiers aren't disclosed.' His statement is considered ersatz by the Nigerians as there are records of casualties of soldiers from the United States, United Kingdom, France, India and several other nations which are accessible online.
Femi Adesina has received enormous criticism from the Nigerians. Even a journalist of CBC News based in Lagos, Anna Cunningham recently discovered that Channels TV had edited the said interview on their YouTube page and removed that part where Adesina made the controversial statement.
