Twinkle Khanna faces backlash over controversial joke on Sadhguru's tweet

Twinkle Khanna, an author, and wife of actor Akshay Kumar has landed herself in a major controversy when she retweeted Sadhguru's Congratulatory Tweet For Hima Das with a controversial comment. Sadhguru had tweeted "Hima Das, a Golden shower for India. Congratulations and Blessings. -Sg" to which Twinkle had purportedly retweeted with a comment that said, "And here I thought we were all only into Gomutra:)".

The tweet is nowhere to be found now but unverified screenshots of the tweet have gone viral on Twitter and Twinkle is facing widespread backlash over Sadhguru's tweet.

Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri also tweeted about the matter.

The tweet has gone viral earlier as well because "golden shower" actually means an act of sexual deviancy and Twitter soon picked it up, but Twinkle's intentional troll has garnered a much widespread reaction.

Twinkle Khanna also owned a production house with the name Mrs. Funnybones and released Movie 'Padman' in 2018 starring his husband Akshay Kumar.
