CM, leaders extend Bakrid greetings to people of UT

Chief Minister N Rangasamy on Tuesday led leaders of various political parties in greeting the people of the union Territory on the eve of Bakrid.

In his message, he said the festival highlights the spirit of sacrifice and the virtues of genorisity, peace and harmony.

He added that communal harmony in Puducherry has been nurtured by all sections of people.

PWD Minister K Lakshminarayanan, Transport Minister Chandra Priyanga, Home Minister A Namassivayam, legislators and leaders of different political parties were among those who greeted the people on the eve of the festival.
