China says will resolutely defend its national sovereignty

China will resolutely defend its national sovereignty and security and resolutely oppose all forms of hegemony and a cold war mentality, foreign minister Qin Gang said on Tuesday.

China also opposes unilateral sanctions, Qin told reporters at a news conference on the sidelines of an annual parliament meeting in Beijing.
