Ireland's Paschal Donohoe will not run to be next PM, says Virgin Media reporter

Ireland's public expenditure minister Paschal Donohoe will not run to become the new Irish prime minister, Virgin Media reporter Gavan Reilly said on X, quoting a statement from Donohoe.

"I have long said that my focus is on the two jobs that I am privileged to hold; that of Government Minister and as President of the Eurogroup. That remains to be the case," Donohoe said in the statement posted by Reilly.
