Argentina lower house OKs fiscal reform package, detailed vote to come

Argentina's lower house of congress approved President Javier Milei's fiscal reform package on Tuesday afternoon, which will now see it face a detailed article-by-article vote before potentially moving up to the Senate for final approval.

The backing came after lower house lawmakers earlier gave their green light to a separate sprawling reform bill, a boost to libertarian Milei that also helped push up markets.
