Former Dutch Intelligence Chief Dick Schoof to Become Netherlands' Prime Minister

Dick Schoof, the former chief of Dutch intelligence, is set to be announced as the prime minister of the Netherlands' incoming rightwing government. This follows an agreement among four conservative parties led by election winner Geert Wilders, who opted not to pursue the top role himself.

Former Dutch intelligence chief Dick Schoof will be presented on Tuesday as the proposed prime minister of the Netherlands' incoming rightwing government, public broadcaster NOS said citing sources close to the matter.

Election winner Geert Wilders earlier this month reached an agreement on forming a new government with three other conservative parties, after ruling himself out for the top job in the cabinet.
