Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy criticized the previous BRS rule, describing it as having caused a 'destruction of 100 years' within a decade. Speaking at the 10th Telangana formation day celebrations, he emphasized his administration's commitment to a cultural and economic revival, aspiring to position Telangana as a global destination.

Reddy thanked Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for fulfilling the long-standing demand for Telangana's statehood. He also justified the decision to invite Sonia Gandhi to the event, despite her absence, and highlighted the roles of other key figures like Meira Kumar and Sushma Swaraj in the passage of the 2014 bill creating Telangana.

His tenure, he asserted, will restore freedom and accessibility to governance, while essential projects like the new state song 'Jaya Jaya he Telangana' and the Green Telangana - 2050 Master Plan lay the groundwork for future development. Reddy reiterated his vision of making Hyderabad a premier global city, concluded by unfurling the national flag and inspecting the parade.
