On the eve of vote counting for the Lok Sabha elections, Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra confidently forecasted a significant victory for the opposition INDIA bloc over the BJP. He articulated his concerns over the Election Commission's impartiality, suggesting that it operates under the influence of the BJP. 'The people of Rajasthan have cast their votes in favor of the INDIA bloc candidates, and we anticipate winning more seats than the BJP,' Dotasra stated while addressing the media.

Dotasra asserted that the alliance would secure a full victory in approximately 10 seats and holds a lead in about eight others. He emphasized that this election is pivotal for saving the Constitution and dismantling what he described as a 'ten-year-long dictatorship.' He expressed frustration over the Election Commission's inaction regarding complaints lodged by both the AICC and the state Congress.

Dotasra criticized the BJP for failing to address key issues such as inflation, unemployment, and agricultural income, arguing that public discontent played a significant role in the vote. He also pointed out that in Rajasthan, the BJP-led government has been ineffective over the past six months, leading voters to support the Congress's agenda. In the previous 2019 elections, the BJP-led NDA swept all 25 seats, leaving Congress without representation.
