Record-Breaking Victory: Shankar Lalwani Wins by Unprecedented Margin

Shankar Lalwani, BJP's sitting MP from Indore, secured a record-breaking victory with a margin of 11,75,092 votes and NOTA achieving a record high. In Tikamgarh, Union minister Virendra Kumar won by defeating his Congress rival by 4,03,312 votes. This marks Lalwani's second term and Kumar’s fourth consecutive win.

Shankar Lalwani, the BJP's sitting MP from Indore, achieved a historic victory on Tuesday, winning by an unprecedented margin of 11,75,092 votes. NOTA (None of the Above) also made a significant impact, with 2.18 lakh voters opting for this option in the Lok Sabha elections, marking a record in its own right.

In Tikamgarh (SC) seat, Union minister Virendra Kumar emerged victorious, defeating his Congress rival Pankaj Ahirwar by 4,03,312 votes. This victory reaffirmed Kumar's stronghold, marking his fourth consecutive win since 2009.

The Congress faced a setback in Indore after its candidate Akshay Kanti Bam withdrew his nomination at the last moment and subsequently joined the BJP. This led the Congress to urge voters to choose the NOTA option during the Indore polling.
