Prem Singh Tamang, the supremo of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), will take the oath of office as the Chief Minister for a second term on June 9, marking a significant political event in the state of Sikkim.

The swearing-in ceremony, set to take place at Paljor Stadium in Gangtok, is expected to attract a large audience, including SKM cadres and residents from various parts of the state.

Tamang's announcement comes after SKM's overwhelming success in the recent assembly and Lok Sabha elections, where they secured 31 out of 32 assembly seats. Expressing his gratitude, Tamang thanked the people for their continued faith in his party and praised the dedication of SKM leaders and members which contributed to their electoral victory. He also confirmed that SKM's MP Indra Hang Subba will be aligning with the NDA at the Centre.
