Rahul Gandhi's Thank You Rally Moved to Raebareli

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's event to thank voters has been relocated to Raebareli from Amethi. Rahul Gandhi recently won in Rae Bareli, and Kishori Lal Sharma secured Amethi from Smriti Irani. The decision was made due to the extreme heat.

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were set to host an event in Amethi on Tuesday to express gratitude to voters. However, party officials announced that the event has been relocated to Raebareli. This decision comes after Rahul Gandhi's victory over Uttar Pradesh minister Dinesh Pratap Singh in the Rae Bareli constituency and Congress' Kishori Lal Sharma's win over Union minister Smriti Irani in Amethi.

The thank-you event is now scheduled to be held at the Bhuemau Guest House in Raebareli, said Pradeep Singhal, chief of Congress' Amethi district unit. The change in location was made to spare attendees from the intense heat.

In addition to Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, Kishori Lal Sharma, the newly elected MP for Amethi, will also be present to address the gathering.
