Kremlin Monitors France's Snap Elections Amid Hostile Relations

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov highlighted Russia's focus on the recent European parliamentary elections, noting the rise of far-right and eurosceptic parties.

The Kremlin said on Monday that it would closely watch forthcoming snap elections in France called by President Emmanuel Macron given what it called the French leadership's "openly hostile" attitude towards Russia.
