Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut on Tuesday intensified his criticism against the BJP, labeling allies Nitish Kumar and N Chandrababu Naidu as 'dissatisfied souls' due to the recent allocation of portfolios in the Union cabinet.

Raut seized upon the term 'bhatakti aatma' used by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar, stating that this 'wandering restless soul' will only find solace once BJP-led governments at both the Centre and in Maharashtra are dislodged. He further appealed to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to take decisive action if he believed that the NDA government was not serving the country's best interests.

Highlighting the portfolio distribution, Raut noted that ministers from BJP allies like Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal-United were given less significant roles, such as Panchayati Raj and Fisheries, while Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP received the Civil Aviation Ministry. Raut argued that these allocations are a clear sign of dissatisfaction among NDA allies. Additionally, he criticized the absence of a Muslim minister in Modi's cabinet, alleging it contradicts constitutional values and promotes division between Hindus and Muslims.
