BJP MP Manna Lal Rawat Threatened Online, Police Investigate
Newly-elected BJP MP from Udaipur, Manna Lal Rawat, faced online threats after comments were posted on a YouTube video. In a troubling turn of events, Manna Lal Rawat, the newly-elected BJP MP from Udaipur, has reported being threatened on social media. The issue has prompted swift police action, according to the authorities on Wednesday.
Udaipur Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal confirmed that the threatening comments were identified on a YouTube video. Upon being informed by the MP, the police began efforts to trace and apprehend the culprits.
In a statement, Rawat revealed that the threats were made by two men referencing a recent altercation involving actor and fellow BJP MP Kangana Ranaut. Rawat reassured that SP Udaipur is committed to taking necessary measures against the accused through their cyber team.
