Addressing the inaugural Armed Forces BEML Synergy Meet 2024, as per the defence ministry statement, he stressed the importance of 'Atmanirbharta' in attaining autonomy in defence production and positioning India as a global defence exporter.

IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari and senior officials from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard participated in the event, which aimed to deepen understanding and deliver innovative solutions for military needs.

Gen Chauhan highlighted the need for joint integration to align with the government's military modernisation agenda, ensuring the defence sector meets the demands of modern military operations through collaboration with organisations like BEML.

The synergy meet was a platform for open interactions, fostering mutual growth and strengthening the relationship between BEML and the armed forces, paving the way for future collaborations and enhancing defence efficiency and effectiveness.
