In the wake of the recent demolition of the under-construction YSRCP central office in Tadepalli, Andhra Pradesh, several district offices of the party are facing legitimacy concerns from local civic bodies.

The opposition shared a notice received between Monday and Tuesday regarding its Vizianagaram district office.

“Stop the unauthorized construction work and submit a reply within seven days,” directed the notice, warning of continuous offense if ignored.

Similar notices were issued to other YSRCP district offices.

Meanwhile, the YSRCP accused the NDA government, including TDP, BJP, and Janasena, of intentionally targeting its offices.

“A plot to demolish Vijayawada and Vizianagaram party offices in a vengeful manner is underway,” alleged the party, criticizing the alliance government.

On Sunday, IT & Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh accused former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of leasing 42 acres across 26 districts for party offices.

A government source claimed 18 of these offices were “totally unauthorized buildings.”

Four district offices received online approval despite shortfalls, but YSRCP continued their construction, the source added.

Amidst the controversy, the Rs 500-crore Rushikonda mansion uproar brought additional scrutiny to the party’s expenditures.

Lokesh questioned Jagan Mohan Reddy's alleged greed for palatial residences, pointing to excessive security arrangements for the former CM's residences.
