Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, announced on Thursday that the Congress and the INDIA bloc will forcefully raise the issue of peace in Manipur in Parliament. This effort aims to pressure the government to resolve the crisis in the violence-hit state.

Gandhi reiterated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should make a personal visit to Manipur to hear the people's grievances and appeal for peace. The demands follow his interactions with people in relief camps during his recent day-long visit.

In a video shared online, Gandhi discussed the dire situation in Manipur and affirmed that he and Congress MPs will continue to raise these issues in the upcoming Parliament session. He assured the people of Manipur that efforts to pressurize the government for a resolution would intensify.
