Samajwadi Party leader and Faizabad MP, Awadhesh Prasad, assured a detailed investigation and fair compensation on Thursday concerning the alleged Ayodhya land scam. Prasad received a warm welcome from party workers upon his arrival at Valmiki Airport in Ayodhya.
Addressing the media, Prasad expressed his gratitude: 'I am fortunate to be chosen as MP from Ayodhya, the land of Lord Ram. I assure the locals that adequate compensation will be sought. This is a big issue and I guarantee a high-level probe into the scam. The matter will be fully exposed to the public,' he said, criticizing the BJP for selling Ayodhya's public land at undervalued prices.
Prasad also highlighted the shift away from communal politics, emphasizing future political focus on constitutional issues, reservation, development, employment, and the Agniveer scheme. Commenting on non-bailable warrants against BJP allies, he anticipated further revelations about their involvement in various scams. On flood management, Prasad blamed the government for inadequate preparation and mismanagement, promising to address the flood-affected areas personally.
